The JBL CBT 1000 is a passive 2-way high power 1 m columnloudspeaker. Typical applications are highly reflective, acoustically problematic listening areas with large level requirements and/or distances such as train stations, large churches, airports, schools, shopping malls or exhibition areas.
The CBT 1000 is equipped with 24x tweeters and 6x 6.5" woofers. A passive circuit drives the components with different delay times. Depending on the application, the vertical dispersion angle can be switched 16-fold by activating other delay times and adapted to the listening area.
The radiation range in the high frequency is asymmetrical. The upper range radiates with 100°, the middle with 130° and the lower with 160°. This results in a very homogeneous sound coverage over the entire depth of the room. Depending on the sound reinforcement task, the sound characteristics of the JBL CBT 1000 can be switched from speech to music.
The scope of delivery includes a tilt and swivel wall mount. The JBL CBT 1000 is available in black and white (WH). To expand the sound line, a 1m long woofer unit is optionally available (CBT 1000E).
