The Crown CDi DriveCore amplifiers were developed specifically for the fixed installation sector. They are predestined for applications such as churches, gastronomy, exhibition and convention centers, cinemas, amusement parks or hotels.

They are based on a highly efficient chip amplifier technology that combines hundreds of components in one chip. This enables excellent audio characteristics with minimal space requirements and low power consumption. Additionally, power amplifier performance is available for both low impedance (2-16 ohms) and high impedance ELA applications. Additional transformers are not required for 70/100 volt operation.

In addition to the analog inputs, the DCi DriveCore BL models also have a digital BLU-Link input and output. Up to 256 digital audio channels can be received and forwarded via this.

The extensive DSP operates at 96 kHz, 32 bit floating point. It includes 8 input and 8 output EQs, crossover, delays up to 1,000 ms and 3 limiters for optimal speaker protection.

The Crown DCi DriveCore amplifiers work with the TCP/IP (Ethernet) protocol, which is used in HiQnet. The free "Audio Architect" is used as control software. For quick access without software, the parameters can also be operated via the front panel.

The connections are made on the input side via Phoenix connectors and on the outputs via screw terminals.
