The AKG C516 ML is a condenser microphone for miking accordion, guitar and piano. It can be easily attached to the instrument with the clamp mount and the supplied mounting hardware. The frequency response has been adjusted to reproduce the sound of the instrument in a very balanced way. The AKG C516 ML has a cardioid polar pattern. This makes it very insensitive to feedback and well shielded from ambient noise. With the 12.5 cm long gooseneck, they align the microphone exactly. The microphone capsule of the AKG C516 ML is elastically mounted. This reduces annoying background noise caused by movement to a minimum.
The AKG C516 ML requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 - 52 volts. It can be connected to AKG wireless system bodypack transmitters or to a phantom power supply via a cable with a mini-XLR connector.
A windscreen, microphone case, adhesive compound, 4 screws, adhesive rubber plates, a mounting plate, a pocket transmitter adapter and a 1.5 m mini-XLR cable are included.
