The AKG C411 is a condenser microphone (body transducer) for miking acoustic stringed instruments. It is glued directly to the instrument and picks up sound from the surface of the sound box. The frequency response of the AKG C411 is specifically tuned for acoustic string instruments. The sound of the instrument is reproduced unaltered and very natural. Since acoustic instruments vibrate differently at different points, you can vary the timbre depending on the sound pickup point.
The required adhesive rubber for attaching the pickup to the instrument is included. It can be used several times and is harmless to wood, plastic and metal surfaces
The microphone is available in two versions:
The AKG C411 L requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 - 52 volts. It can be connected to pocket transmitters of wireless systems or to a phantom power supply via the mini-XLR connector. The connection cable is 1.5 m long.
The AKG C411 PP requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 - 52 volts. It can be connected to the microphone input of the mixing console or to a phantom power supply via the XLR connector. The connection cable is 3 m long.
